Media Policy
By attending our events, you consent to being photographed and recorded (audio/video) without compensation. We’ll use this media for Prairie Fire Gaming purposes—websites, social media, news, advertising, and anything else related to Prairie Fire Gaming. If you’re not comfortable with that, please don’t attend.
Likeness refers to a person’s image, voice, and name as captured in photography, audio, or video recordings.
Media refers to any content created from playing in our events, including a player’s likeness, direct recordings, and/or content generated or enhanced by computer algorithms, software, or artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
Purpose
To ensure all players, volunteers, and staff at Prairie Fire Gaming events understand how photography, audio, and video recordings may be used, and to respect privacy and safety concerns.
Policy Statement
By attending or playing in a Prairie Fire Gaming event, you acknowledge that photography, audio, and video recording may occur. Your presence constitutes consent and grants Prairie Fire Gaming a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and distribute your likeness in media related to Prairie Fire Gaming activities, including websites, social media, news, and advertising. This includes media that is processed, enhanced, or generated in whole or in part by computer algorithms, software, or artificial intelligence (AI) tools.
The policies of a hosting organization, venue, or site may supersede, limit, or expand Prairie Fire Gaming’s potential use of your likeness. Prairie Fire Gaming will make reasonable efforts to inform participants of any such additional policies if necessary, but we encourage you to review the host’s media policy on your own.
For players under the age of 18, a parent or legal guardian must consent to this policy in writing before the event.

All media will be used respectfully and in accordance with Prairie Fire Gaming’s mission. No compensation will be provided for use of media created from your presence at Prairie Fire Gaming events. Prairie Fire Gaming will make reasonable effort to not use media in any way that is defamatory, misleading, or otherwise harmful to participants.
